Writer & Producer: Tony Brueski Some wine rules are made to be broken. That is exactly what this wine does. "Totally Random Wine" from Alder Fels Winery in California has come out with a new offering in this line of wines, this time... its Peach! Not exactly a flavor you think of, when you think of wine.
Contribuitor: Jen Brueski Several times over the past couple of years, our family has received what I call “Magical Baskets of Goodness” from Wine Country Gift Baskets, and most of the time Tony says that I have to play nice and share. This time we received a cute canvas tote with leather trim that caught my attention and it was filled with assorted bath and spa products; body butter, body bar, bath caviar, body lotion shower gel, bubble bath, body scrub, loofa sponge, slippers, and sachet all in my favorite scent, Lavender.
Contribuitor: Tony Brueski The food truck craze has gone coast to coast and hit everywhere in between. In this episode we visit a food truck in Wichita, KS known as "The Flying Stove" and check out some of their delicious offerings such as the Smoked Prosciutto Sandwich and the LA Street Taco. Don't be fooled by this street truck's physical location in Wichita, it serves up creative options that could compete with any of the best food trucks from the east or west coast. The Flying Stove food truck has a line that starts forming outside its window even before they open for business and most days have to shut down early simply because they run out of food. This of course is always the tell tale sign of a top notch food truck!
Contribuitor: Tony Brueski One of the things I miss most about childhood is the baskets of free candy and goodies! As an adult I love hiding the eggs and giving my daughter her Easter basket, but I would be fibbing just a bit if I told you that I wasn't just a little bit jealous of the loot she is walking away with. That's why I've now found a way to make everyone happy... (Including my inner-child).
Do you remember a time when the big soda companies would launch a new product predicated by months of anticipation and massive fanfare? I'm talking concepts like Crystal Pepsi, Coke II even Diet Coke. Now it seems that when a product is launched, it just hits the shelves and you only know about it through passing bewilderment and try it out of sheer curiosity. This was the case for me with Pepsi next.
No, I’m not talking about this. As technology keeps expanding, it creeps into areas we never dreamt of. Now with iPads and all the other tablet devices, it easier to get the information we need at our finger tips. I no longer have to print out a recipe. I can simply pull it up on my iPad and get to work.
It is here, and it is a thing of glory. The all-too-obvious-why-the-hell-didn't-they-do-this-sooner taco that puts all previous fast food tacos to shame. It's called the "Taco Loco's", but everyone will simply call it the "Doritos's Taco". We were some of the first to try them, watch the video to find out what 3 overweight men age 18-54 (the target demo of this brilliant marketing scheme) think of this piece of taco history.
