Screw cooking your steak to “well done”.
Ask your server to cook the hell out of your salad due to the salad recall.
Or ask whoever is preparing it at your home to “cook the living crap out of the green stuff” (see how your 5 year old reacts to that one). This week we are hearing of yet another salad recall. This time it comes to us from Rochester based grocery chain Wegmans.
While everyone struggles to survive the aftermath of the hurricane, there is still a chance of being taken out by a cobb salad if the uninformed happens to consume it.
Wegmans is recalling its Organic Spinach and Spring Mix salads because it may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
Wegmans says the recall covers 5 ounce and 11 ounce packages sold between Oct. 14 and Thursday 11/1.
Wegmans Food Markets has 81 stores across New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland and Massachusetts.
The scary thing about this recall is the fact that may people who may need to know about it, may not have access to news or internet as power is still being restored. On that same note though, any chance of the salad still being good after days with-out refrigeration may also have protected many from eating it to begin with. The evil E. Coli played its cards wrong this time!
