There is nothing better than finding a great wine from a small craft vineyard. Thats exactly what we have with Scribner Bend Vineyards Black hat Tempranillo with grapes grown along Sacramento River Delta in an are called Scribner Bend. What you have is a great red that truly rocks with duck – It could go great with any rich meat dish, but duck with a bit of spice is what really made this wine shine for me. I suggest trying this recipe for Roast Duck Leg with Spicy Orange Rub or this appetizer recipe for Crispy Duck Spring Rolls w/Spiced Apple Glaze.
