Getting ready for a big game this weekend, trying to take a break from your Party Bingo addiction, or are you having an "adults only" night with some old friends from your school days? If so, you may want to surprise everyone with these... "Gourmet Jello Shots". These are not the jello shot of your youth... they are taken up a notch with specialty ingredients and fresh fruit. My friend Nate stopped by to show us how its done as he prepares for a weekend of tailgating at his alma mater with a wide array of jello shots.
What can you add to your Jello shot mix to make it "Gourmet" - We suggest:
-High end liquor. The check stuff will taste like paint thinner with the jello shot
-Use Fresh fruits and exotic fruits for your jello shots
-Place flavored sugars on the rims of the shot glasses of the shot
-Use REAL shot glasses with your jello shot
-Use liquors that are not super high in alcohol, if you do - plan ahead flavor them yourself
