We had a chance to cook with some all natural Wild Alaskan Salmon from our friends at Heartland Home Foods. We combined some all natural ingredients with the all natural salmon to make a great low calorie dish perfect for a summer dinner!
If you would like to make it for your self here is what you will need.
–All Natural Alaskan Salmon Fillets from Heartland Home Foods (click here to order some)
-1/3 Chopped Yellow Onion
-2 Cloves Chopped Garlic
-Hand full Diced Cherry Tomatoes
-3 Tablespoons Water
-1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
-Salt/Pepper to taste
1) Put the olive oil in a large non-stick pan, over medium heat saute the garlic and onion until slightly browned.
2) Make room for the salmon that have been sprinkle with a small amount of salt and pepper (to bring out flavors) Place the salmon in the pan skin side down.
3) Add in the tomatoes and water and let cook next to the salmon. Cover the pan and let the steam cook the top of the salmon on medium/low heat.
4) Once salmon is cooked (approx 5-8 mins) remove from pan and cover with veggie mixture from pan, ad a sprig of basil for some color if desired.
