This is another one of those that in my mind was the creation of generations and generations of recipes being passed down. Not so. Most of the time, it was passed down from good ol “Betty Crocker”. Here is her take on how to make a good pumpkin pie.
|1||cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)|
|1/2||cup Original Bisquick® mix|
|1||cup evaporated milk|
|1||tablespoon butter or margarine, softened|
|1 1/2||teaspoons pumpkin pie spice|
|Whipped topping, if desired
